Each character has their own lore surrounding them, some of it is different from what it really was. (Ex. Team C00lkidd was a group of hackers, there was a hacker that went by 007n7. But in the forsaken universe, 007n7 was a hacker then adopted a child named C00lkidd.)

From what I know, the lore surrounding it is just all the characters in the game have passed away and is now trapped in this limbo where they have to survive (or kill)

There are different classes that these characters belong to.
Survivors: good for completing generators and running from the killer.
Skirmisher: good for fighting back against the killer
Support: good for helping out the team in order to survive

Theres many different characters you can play as; The classic noob, Elliot the pizza man from work at a pizza place, and even that Guest from the last guest. Theres hackers based off of team C00lkidd. Myths like 1x1x1x1 and Noli, and even roblox admins, like Shedletsky, Builderman and Dusekkar.

Okay, so forsaken is a DBD based game but all the characters in it are based off roblox. 8 Survivors have to complete 5 generators while trying to evade a killer, you can run, fight back, or help the team and survive till the time limit runs out. As the killer, you just have to kill everyone alive.
