US Reps Massie and Khanna informed a federal court that the DOJ cannot be relied upon to fully release the Epstein files.

They request appointment of an independent monitor, citing missing records, improper redactions, and inconsistent DOJ representations. #opdeatheaters

Put simply, the DOJ cannot be trusted with making mandatory disclosures under the Act.
While we believe that criminal violations have taken place and must be addressed, the most urgent need now is for the DOJ to produce all the documents and electronically stored information required by the Act. In its November 26, 2025, letter (Dkt.813), the DOJ represented to this Court the categories of documents in its possession, much of which has not been produced.
Thus, in our capacity as amici curiae, we suggest pursuant to its inherent authority and Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 53, this Court appoint Special Master and/or Independent Monitor for the purpose of ensuring all the documents and electronically stored information are immediately made public to be in accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. We also suggest the Independent Monitor be given authority to notify and prepare reports to this Court about the true nature and extent of the document production and if improper redactions or other improper conduct is taking place. We also suggest this Court compel testimony from the person or persons most knowledgeable from the DOJ SNY office about the production that has been made, the pending productions, and the representations that have previously been made to this Court.
Absent an independent process, as outlined above, we do not believe the DOJ will produce the records that are required by the Act and what it has represented to this Court.

Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia has obtained subpoenas for Les Wexner, a billionaire businessman and longtime sponsors of Jeffrey Epstein, as well as Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, the executors of the Epstein estate. #opdeatheaters

Les Wexner is a billionaire businessman and a longtime benefactor of Jeffrey Epstein. Public reporting has documented their longstanding ties, including the fact Wexner paid for Epstein's home in New York City.
Additionally, Virginia Giuffre named Wexner in a deposition as one of the men she was trafficked to.
Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn were Jeffrey Epstein's long-time lawyer and accountant. They are co-executors and beneficiaries of Epstein's estate.
Survivors have shared with the Committee that Indyke and Kahn knew about Epstein's abuse and helped facilitate his crimes through their management of his legal and financial affairs.

US rep Greene (MTG) revealed to the Times that when she threatened to expose some of the men who raped and trafficked Epstein’s victims, Donald Trump called her to angrily scream at her, he yelled:

“My friends will get hurt.”

After the hearing, Greene held a news conference at which she threatened to identify some of the men who had abused the women. (Greene says that she didn't know those names herself but that she could have gotten them from the victims.)
Trump called Greene to voice his displeasure. Greene was in her Capitol Hill office, and according to a staff member, everyone in the suite of rooms could hear him yelling at her as she listened to him on speakerphone. So given that we are dealing with criminals and members of criminal organizations, what they mean by security is immunity from criminal prosecution. And we have seen that. They do not keep us safe, we have plenty of evidence of that, but they certainly do keep themselves safe. The US military bombed an MSF hospital. Can we investigate? No we cannot, they have bulldozed the evidence. They "tortured some folks" and they plan on torturing a lot more, but that's classified. Jeffrey Epstein is a man in the United States known to have raped and trafficked dozens or hundreds or who knows how many children. The US Attorney General at the time, Alberto Gonzales, said he would have instructed the US Justice Department to "pursue justice without making a political mess". Epstein's little black book contains people like Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew. There is only one way to interpret that directive and that is impunity for anyone above a certain social strata or anyone with blackmail on them. The Pentagon, since 2010, has refused to investigate, at that time it was over 1700 cases, of child abuse media they have found on Pentagon computers. The people in the US are finally starting to talk about all the taxpayer funded NDA's that protect people in congress against reports of rape and sexual assault. California alone has reportedly paid more than $25 million in the last three years to buy criminal impunity for their politicians. In the UK, you have your own child rape inquiry where UK police have spoken many times of investigations which have a strata they can't go above - where those above that strata are referred to as the Untouchables, protected by the Official Secrets Act and many other layers of secrecy. The Epstein Files Transparency Act imposes a clear legal duty on the U.S. Department of Justice to produce the full and complete record the public demands and deserves.
However, what the Department of Justice has released so far, and the manner in which it did so, makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected. We do not know whom, what or why. But we do know this:
We need no such protection.
Accordingly, we call on President Trump to direct Attorney General Bondi to immediately release any remaining materials referring to, mentioning, or containing a photograph of Bill Clinton.
This includes, without limitation, any records that may exist and are subject to disclosure under the Act (Public Law 119-38 enacted Nov. 19, 2025), including grand jury transcripts, interview notes, photographs, and findings by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York (as referenced under oath to Congress by President Trump's first-term Attorney General).
Refusal to do so will confirm the widespread suspicion the Department of Justice's actions to date are not about transparency, but about insinuation - using selective releases to imply wrongdoing about individuals who have already been repeatedly cleared by the very same Department of Justice, over many years, under Presidents and Attorneys General of both parties.

This law, enacted by a nearly unanimous vote in the House and unanimously in the Senate, and signed by the President, was clear. It afforded no permission for delayed disclosure. Instead, the public received a fraction of the files, and what we received was riddled with abnormal and extreme redactions with no explanation. At the same time, numerous victim identities were left unredacted, causing real and immediate harm. No financial documents were released. Grand jury minutes, though approved by a federal judge for release, were fully blacked out - not the scattered redactions that might be expected to protect victim names, but 119 full pages blacked out. We are told that there are hundreds of thousands of pages of documents still unreleased. These are clear-cut violations of an unambiguous law. Moreover, the partial release was done in a manner that made it difficult or impossible for survivors to find materials that would be most relevant to our search for accountability. There has been no guidance for survivors on how to locate materials pertaining to our own cases, nor have we been provided with copies of our own files despite repeated requests. As women who survived the crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, we call upon DOJ to explain to the public why they have missed a legal deadline and to explain to us or our representatives how we can privately obtain copies of all documents in DOJ possession that identify us by name.
For documents that are publicly released, careful, lawful redaction is essential.
Transparency must focus on institutional failures, enablers, financial records, and government conduct, not on further endangering survivors.
Moreover we call upon Congress to stand up for the rule of law. We urge immediate congressional oversight, including hearings, formal demands for compliance, and legal action, to ensure the Department of Justice fulfills its legal obligations.
This is not a partisan issue. Just as the Epstein Files Transparency Act was supported across party lines, we now ask elected officials from both parties to take decisive action to enforce the law, compel full compliance, and ensure meaningful transparency without further delay.
Survivors deserve truth. Survivors whose identities are private deserve protection. The public deserves accountability. And the law must be enforced.

A reminder to the individuals blaming the Epstein network victims for not releasing the names of high-profile predators. They aren't coming forward for your entertainment or political games, they are seeking justice and they deserve safety. #OpDeathEaters

The Trump loyal DOJ have removed at least 16 files, including images of Donald Trump, from the Epstein Files web page after initially releasing them.

There has been no explanation from the government and no notice to the public in regards to why the files were removed. #OpDeathEaters

Epstein victims & lawmakers are speaking out against the number of files released and redactions. More than 550 pages of the files released on 12/19 were fully redacted by the Trump loyal DOJ, these include grand jury investigation documents where 100 pages were entirely blacked out. #OpDeathEaters
