while walking the poodle mix a homeless man once asked her, “is he a small- or medium-sized dog?” without missing a step she responded with a smile, “he’s a biggie small.“

she put the brand new raincoat on his fluffy body, adjusted the hood. affixing his harness they descended the stairs for a mid morning walk. why is he walking next to the wall, scraping against the bricks? oh it’s like braille—he can’t see with that hood hanging low on his eyes.
