I have written to Sen McCormick about my concerns on the defunding of US science. I finally received a response! He is supportive of research & thinks the F&A rates should be returned to previously negotiated rates! Thanks to @audreydrotos.bsky.social & @laurenkreeger.bsky.social for talking to him!

Yay: Most postponed study sections have been rescheduled at this point.
Yikes: To do this, CSR has scheduled *289* study sections from 03/24-05/16/2025. For comparison, there were only 96 study sections from 3/24-5/17/2024. And NIH still plans to RIF more staff. docs.google.com/spreadsheets...
