Ai and apps lack essential elements of the creative process. Not just for the final results, but understanding how you got from the beginning to the end of an idea.

Creative work is elusive.

An analogy that uses a line to represent the work behind the production of a creative piece. The last part of the line is used to represent the effort of the final piece. But it is the initial part (the largest part) that represents the most effort that went into the final result. This part is also invisible to the observer.

As a web designer, I appreciate the simplicity of the mobile first principle, but more and more, and this remark is accentuated when I browse @bsky, but I find myself in front of a big empty screen with a thin column in the center. Is this a feature or a bug of the growth of mobile navigation?
