Time has flown by during our mission here in Havana.

We are grateful for our colleagues at Hospital Fructuoso, our volunteers, our donors and supporters back home, and for our patients’ trust in us all.

Our Cuba mission is moving along at full speed.

So far we have helped 40 patients recover their mobility and take that first step into a new life.

This is our last surgery day here in Havana and we're making the final push towards the finish line.

Almost 30 years ago, a group of volunteers lead by our founder, Dr. Dorr and Director Emeritus, Jeri Ward traveled to Havana, Cuba.

Soon our team will return to Cuba to continue that legacy.

Today we want to recognize our hard-working Central Sterilization crew during #SterileProcessingWeek.

This team of dedicated volunteers works long hours in hot conditions to assure we have the right instrumentation, all parts are sterile and ready for each surgery.
