These events were the spark that ignited a larger conversation that helped turn a taboo topic into a global movement. While we may not host Death Salons in the same way today, that same spirit of intellectual curiosity and open conversation is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re taking it back to the early days of The Order & the event that started it all: Death Salons.
Inspired by 18th century intellectual salons, we brought together academics, artists, funeral professionals, and the public to talk about the one thing we all have in common: death.
