Genuinely think Owen Ashworth's Orindal Records have a pretty untouchable track record. This latest, from Helena Walker's Herbal Tea is a woozy psychedelic dream-folk treat, with shades of Linda Perhacs or a more pastoral Grouper. It's so lovely I don't even mind that her group is called Herbal Tea.

Premiere! Lovely new track from Greg Jamie's upcoming album, "Across a Violet Pasture." Josephine Foster features on the track, heightening the hopefulness trying to claw its way out. Album is out next month on Orindal.

"In the age of self-promotion, where artists are expected to constantly shout loudly for your attention, herbal tea seems to be playing her own game, a slow burn, a gradual progression, an artist willing to wait for you to find her, and one who will definitely be ready for you when you do."

"I'd Get Away" is perfect (in all of its imperfections); a little weary, & quietly haunting in a way you can't quite express or even understand. I sat with it & tried, & all that came to mind: it's really, really good – in all of its dark weirdness and more."

"herbal tea takes the DIY intimacy of bedroom pop and expands outwards, building what might otherwise be humble demos into rich, nuanced soundscapes, as though the original basis of each track is merely a door through which entire new worlds lie in wait."
