I live in a strange world. My age in this world is how many years passed since I got my PhD. I Open my inbox everyday, desperately looking for good news, or at least not bad news.

I think that the most disturbing thing in developing an academic career is the uncertainty. I worked so hard, for so many years and still I don't know where I will be in 6 months or one year from now.
