It's Suicide Prevention Day.

Suicide is not inevitable. You can interrupt someone’s suicidal thoughts. You can save a life.

This World Suicide Prevention Day, we’re sharing one important message: If you think someone might be suicidal, take action, interrupt their thoughts and show them you care.

A dominant identity is the identity held by groups in society who have the most power, visibility, or influence—often seen as the "default" or "norm."

But here’s the thing: when one identity is seen as the “norm,” others can be marginalised, misunderstood, or excluded.
