I agree! ;; After a point, it seems like it is mainly for the experience vs convenience. Which honestly is fine in and of itself! But then from there, I still harp on the price of it, compared to timing of getting there xD

I think that I have seen a video of that route recently! It does seem like such a beautiful experience! On top of also having never traveled to Canada before, it would be a bucket list type of journey for sure!!

I try to consider that aspect too— having meals and whatnot! But even so, I can’t help but to peer at that price so much, especially compared to flights xD
For the experience, though, it really is drawing me in. If ever getting the chance on a solid route, I’d be tempted! Fingers crossed X)

Especially given it was coach seating! It really does suck that any private room options are insanely expensive compared to that, otherwise I’d tempt giving that a go over flying to visit family at least once. Only had about 3-ish hours of sunlight on the trip, but the sights during were so lovely

This is only the second time that I’ve gotten to ride on an Amtrak train, and this one was actually more than three hours (about 11+)— that actually wasn’t too bad! It reminded me how terrible it is to need to use the bathroom without a bidet (I’m spoiled), but overall it was good!

(I really wish that I had the extra time/energy to do extra commission things for this, aaah xD I'd be tempted to even do alcohol/paint marker headshots to help fund this, but I have my regular commissions to get through and already will be stuck to my ipad because of Thanksgiving week travels soon)

This one specifically, plus some select other dolls, yeaah >_> It seems to mainly be due to the fact that they haven't shown any sign of official sale at retail price for at least a year now, so there's a higher perceived value to them. So crossing my fingers otherwise for a holiday miracle, haha

Not necessarily complaining so much as starting it as fast. I feel the need to always say it, even though I hope it doesn't come across as the opposite: I'm still *extremely* grateful to have work to be doing everyday! I really can't begin to thank you all enough for it.

I truthfully don't really get nearly as much time to draw for myself as I'd otherwise like to these days, digitally or especially traditionally, because I want to make sure I'm as on top of work as possible. Especially when I have my periods of feeling "sluggish" or a tad burnt out (like now, woops)
