We live in a coffee-and-tea household. I once counted 37 different types of tea around the kitchen and the big cupboard. Then realised I must have 20-odd bits of coffee paraphernalia so I kept my mouth shut.

Just googled "Dr. Pepper right wing" on a hunch and it seems it's MAGA coded, often prominently on show by MAGA/Republicans in e.g. congressional hearings, and invented in Waco, Texas. So matey here is trying to tell us something.
