My mother died last week. It feels surreal to write, and even more surreal to think about. Everything went by so quick, it hasn’t really sunk in yet, but everything in life feels a bit empty and pointless right now. I am thankful for our time together, I just wish it could have been longer. 💛

My favorite game is in early access and currently on a weeklong maintenance and upgrade hiatus (ending soon), so in the meantime I’ve been watching 3+ hours of skateboarding daily to handle my withdrawals. 🛹

Got my new car today, making salmon for dinner, and yes, I caved and bought the Oblivion remaster. It’s a very good day. ☺️

Seeing so many people accept AI wholeheartedly, so many apps and services built around it; it’s nauseating. I feel like a hack just using it to minimize repetitive tasks in programming or when I use it as a search engine replacement. Using it for creative tasks? Inconceivable.

Had my first meal made with my new air fryer, enjoying a nice Jack and Coke, watching skateboarding competitions, and just relaxing on a quiet evening. It’s been a good two weeks, looking forward to getting back to work on Tuesday. :)
