Terminator 2D: No Fate is a good arcade adaptation of the original story, entertaining for what it is, but not much more than that. It does have good replayability, as you can choose different paths, and the retro art and score are the best things about the title.

And Dunjungle, also a roguelike (in Dead Cells style), and just as happened with DC when I tried it, the same has happen to me with this new one. I like 2D platformers and I like roguelikes, but apparently not so much 2D roguelikes. A couple of hours with several runs are enough for me.

12 nominations for E33 is wild and well deserved, but I think that as an indie game it shouldn't have been included, because it's more AA than indie and will win there as well for sure. And it's going to overshadow others like Silksong, Hades 2, Blue Prince and Dispatch in its both categories.

Oh, KCD2 instead of Split Fiction, which is what I thought would be in last place. I haven't played it, but it's well deserved based on the reviews and general success.

A couple of years ago, I played Before Your Eyes, one of the most impactful experiences I've ever had with games, so I couldn't pass up Goodnight Universe. It's more fantastic and interactive than the impact and drama offered by the first one, but it also has soul, and I did cry at the end.

Obviously, the quality of a game is not measured in terms of GOTY, which are simply some type of awards. But it's also obvious how important they have become in the industry, and I believe that something as perfect as Deltarune should be recognised as such, despite being episodic.

On the subject of GOTY awards, I was thinking that, given its episodic nature, there's a strong possibility that Deltarune will never be nominated, even when it's complete. I hope I'm wrong, because it'd be a huge injustice.

I finish the Little Nightmares saga with the 3rd installment. I knew about the mixed reviews and... I get it. It feels more like an “LN-inspired game” than a true sequel. I don’t mind the spin-off approach, but it lacks polish and impact. It has potential, but doesn’t fully come together.

I finish the Little Nightmares saga with the 3rd installment. I knew about the mixed reviews and... I get it. It feels more like an “LN-inspired game” than a true sequel. I don’t mind the spin-off approach, but it lacks polish and impact. It has potential, but doesn’t fully come together.
