We were relaxing with a bit of Sir Terry Pratchett when Mr. C looked out of the skylight & called me over. It's been raining for weeks, making Limonaid & Little Goat's field a wetland. This attracted dozens of white egrets to fish for worms and bugs.

15:50 hrs
After waiting anxiously all day for news I have just spoken with Mr. C via FaceTime. He has had his surgery and is back in his room. He is a bit groggy and very thirsty but in good spirits. He has not seen the doctor yet. The nurses are very kind and looking after him well.
