Gundam has a solid foundation of very strong themes (war bad, inequality bad, giant robots are cool) that can be retold over and over again without really exhausting the basic ideas.
That said, I think there's a strong case to be made that the "Best" Gundams lean on "inequality bad", not "war bad".
This comment is particularly funny after you expressed your distain for Macross robots-that-origami-themselves-into-planes (I still think you'd like later models, much more helmet-like heads).
Help!: This one I just made up because I want to see that, you can watch "Vision of Escaflowne" for magical robots (and an all-time classic), "Lyrical Nanoha" for magical girls who FIGHT like giant robots, or "Re:CREATORS" for magical girls AND giant robots fighting in downtown Tokyo.
Elves: "Restaurant to Another World", something of an anthology of how various Fantasy characters find a doorway to a small Japanese diner (and their new fav food). Chill and surprisingly endearing, if you don't mind the rather tired trope of "medieval food sucked".
Closest matches I know: Dog: Inspired by "Princess re:Connect DIVE" or somesuch word salad. Based on a mobile game, saw the first couple of episodes and concluded the show would have been considerably improved if the MC was just a dog. Silly, might be fun, wouldn't really recommend.
Also from an outside perspective but I'd say 'yes, but'
He's not trying to start a Civil War but a revolt he can put down and use as pretext for strongmaning his way to Dictator For Life, and being insultingly obvious about it
BUT the line between 'revolt' and 'revolution' can be very thin...
Having not seen ibo yet & thus only knowing this woman via your posts, I'm struck by how without being designed as a "sexy character", her over-the-top personality and extremely *distinctive* design make her actually really hot.
Locked my card but still, those assholes got me thanks to the ridiculous coincidence of them pretending to be trying to deliver a package on the SAME DAY I'm actually expecting a real package.
As I understand it, there are two main ways folks use the Nightsky:
a) as a super-mobile Wolfhound, bounding in & out of range of its pulse lasers and being a backfield distraction b) LOLHATCHETLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLDEATHFROMABOVE
I believe there is a 1:1 equivalence in how "Smiley" it's painted
