It is simply unbelievable that 40% of Americans support Trump and 5% more are indifferent. And it is incredible that the disaster in his second term seems to give him the same rating as his first, when he was quite constrained from doing his worst.

Just a reminder that any American who feels shame at Trump's handling of Putin and Zelensky can spite Trump by donating directly to Ukraine. Ideally regularly. The best defense for Ukraine is scaling up Ukraine's own defense industry, and funding is the main constraint. u24.gov.ua

Keep calm and support Ukraine. Any American citizen exasperated by the Trump administration's handling of Ukraine can defy Trump by donating directly to Ukraine (ideally regularly). Oh yes, it's their latest stunt on traditional values: kick out working immigrants, reward teenage pregnancies, keep Russia "pure-breed". Regions prioritize spending for recruitment & pregnant schoolgirls; the fact they have to make cuts even here shows how desperate the financial situation is.

Yes, but that's precisely the point I'm trying to make :) Putin is testing whether any international organization, be it UN, NATO, ICC, EU etc mean anything beyond words. One of his beloved propaganda theses is "we are all the same, but at least I'm not a hypocrite like the West".
