It totally is... I actually based this drawing off of this photo, the idea of kids being brought to meet someone they loved on TV or heard about in stories only to be absolutely terrified when they meet someone in a poorly maintained or scarily designed suit is such a human experience 😭

Yeah! I imagine there's some period between the fourth and fifth inkling in this image where their limbs/skin changes color, I'm guessing around 12; I think it's said that at 13 they gain the ability to change forms and are an awkward creature up until then! bsky.app/profile/otog...
