decided to hop on the train an do a little klimt inspired piece with these two #malevolent
A piece based on "Fulfillment" by Gustav Klimt Arthur Lester with his back to the camera seems to embrace John doe, a formless figure represented by a palid expressionless mask. Arthur has many scars glowing a golden yellow and he wears a cloak which is seemingly melting into him. Its covered in tiny stars and constellations. There are also 3 eyes on the cloak: one which is gold, one brown and one being held shut.

I got to get out of my comfort zone and make a couple backgrounds for an animation based off of Malevolent season 2 as a part of a huge fan project made for this year’s Extra Life for INVICTUS.

I’m glad I got to give a very small thing to a community that has been so, so important to me.

Arthur Lester and John Doe from A Lighthouse Refuge by SupposedToBeWriting on AO3. I’ve been trying to draw this for like a year. For some reason it was really hard to put to the page. If you haven’t read this fic yet definitely check it out - it’s my favourite Malev fic. #jarthur #malevolent
