The funny thing about MaNa is that the current webcomic is a modern/sci-fi AU of the original story. The old Malena was a warrior from a dark fantasy world (she was born as my character on Dark Soul lol), while Sverker was a powerful knight.

I drew this illustration something like a year before the comic (it's a consensual situation btw).
