Have you ever seen the "Calendrier des Bergers", printed in France in 1491? I don't know why, but I'm fascinated by this period... Persian miniatures, the first printed documents, it's so inspiring to me. These are parallel to the Renaissance, but perhaps more popular...

actually, in 3D shooting games like Max Payne or Superhot, nothing really happens except for the bullets.

the whole bullet + trail in slow-mo thing is really what feels great

pedro is a good ref. the background lighting up is great. I had the intuition that I'd have to do something to the whole screen...

maybe I should add that I'm looking for cases where the slow-mo is associated with a trigger zone because I'm wondering "what to do within that zone?"
