If you try and tune in after sunrise, WHAS will have faded out, but WNYC on 820 kHz will no longer be covered by noise. It is nicely audible during the day:

Trump seems to think that nuclear wepons development depends on testing live bombs. No, development does NOT require actual nuclear blasts.

Testing live devices is just a dick wagging contest, as H bombs can be made ARBITRARILY LARGE and doesn't scare any adversary actually seeking a fight.

Bummer, no mention of all the people listening to shortwave via internet SDRs, or computer tools like Skywave Linux.

Maybe in bonus season 3.

Season 2 wraps up with the story of high frequency trading (HFT) taking more and more spectrum. Wall Street wants spectrum for super low latency market data feeds.

To understand what HFT is about, read the book "Flash Boys" by Michael Lewis.

The Divided Dial, Season 2 Episode 3 does some coverage of Brother Stair and his cult, World's Last Chance, and other unhinged groups.

On the tech side, they include history of WBCQ, with a cameo from Timtron WA1HLR.

This documentary connects the dots really well.

The "Divided Dial" may be the BEST documentary ever made about the history of AM talk radio and far right shortwave broadcasting. I heard a lot of those broadcasters in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

Excellent work by Katie Thornton and others at WNYC. They nailed it.

One first step people should do to respond to this is start using the “report a speed trap” function in Apple Maps to report where ICE is operating. Make Apple party to the attempt to protect people.
