He/him. Tangata Tiriti. Politics, music, TV, food, law, the weird shit my kids do, eat the rich etc. Lawyer but not the bad kind. Disgraced former eye surgeon.

Hard disagree. If I catch you air strumming cowboy chords over a guitar solo you are wrong and I will absolutely judge you.
There are no wrong notes when you play air guitar.
I suspect the Pratchett estate is pretty chill about that kind of thing.
Just the most appalling, unchecked price gouging.
That reminds me of this immortal post:
Simeon Brown is like a lightly lobotomised Jacob Rees-Mogg. His continued presence in NZ politics is an absolute mystery.
Today's youth simply need to get off their collective keister. There are plenty of jobs for chimney sweeps and lamplighters. I have just apprenticed my eldest to a renowned phrenologist and my youngest makes over thruppence a day as a mudlark and occasional cutpurse. #NoExcuses #RiseandGrind #NZPol
This is a great but also really depressing piece of journalism on a business preying on the desperation of younger people, and I really don't understand why the CC can't intervene to shut it down: thespinoff.co.nz/business/14-...
Inside Legacy: the MLM that thrives in secrecy
Has your friend started wearing a suit, posting from ‘business conferences’ and using the diamond emoji a lot? They may have joined Legacy.

Way faster than an oven too. We've found it great for quick dinners for the kids, reheating stuff that doesn't work in a microwave (e.g. pizza) and roasting broccoli for some extra veg when we're having a curry.
Ah yes the zero thoughts 100% vibes voting bloc. Absolute morons.
I have a very good friend who was a member of the Ferns' organisation. By all accounts, she's an old-fashioned bully and completely unsuited to coaching high-performance sport.
People going into bat for Noeline Taurua have never had the immense displeasure of working with her.
I just assumed that all toasties have cheese because melted cheese is the best part of a toastie. How about a BLACT toastie where you add the avo and lettuce after it's cooked (and once it has cooled down a bit so the lettuce and avo don't wilt / brown)?
I would just toast the bread and assemble. Unless there's cheese in there too?
This is the line-up for the Riyadh Comedy Festival. Setting aside some of the less surprising inclusions like Dave Chappelle and Louis CK, it is still hard to pick which of these is the most disappointing participant in Saudi Arabia's latest attempt to launder its reputation.
Honestly most of the National caucus looks like a stale, half-eaten packet of Huntley & Palmers to me. The only distinguishing feature with these two is the matching basic, alliterative names.
TIL that these are two different people. #nzpol
Yes, absolutely. It came out after Car Wheels on a Gravel Road and Williams was over 40 at the time.
Throwing out the criteria also brings Paradise by the Dashboard Light into the mix. YMMV but for me it is a Mum's Car Classic™. But then so is Steamy Windows.
That's an amazing song but I think only Maynard could have been called middle-aged at that point.
What is your favourite song about have a root in a car released by a world-famous, middle-aged musician? Mine is probably Steamy Windows.
It's all very odd. Douglas and co would no doubt prefer to address deficits and debt by reducing spending, and while the Nats have wasted money on some breathtakingly stupid things many of those were tax cuts while we clearly need to increase spending on health, educaiton, infrastructure etc.
Even a very stopped, broken and obsolete clock that was shoved into a cardboard box in the attic 20 years ago and only remembered when you have to find an air mattress or the Christmas decorations is right twice a day.
Can we please, please not make pop country a thing in NZ?
Saw this post at the time and it is less than ideal but who is the best alternative? Wayne Brown?
Kerrin Leoni really does appear to be the best option in a deeply underwhelming collection of Auckland mayoral candidates. Is that accurate? LMK if I'm wrong.
