Since my game's update is out, I should share this.

This is the newest character for Insatiable Hearts - Oishi the dumpling demon who likes to feed the player meals made from its own regenerating flesh - playful, obsessive and a bit unhinged ~

Insatiable Hearts Version 0.24.0 has been released for supporters over on www.patreon.com/owlkaline

it includes a new art assets, a few new encounters, a number of changes, updated dialog & a new character

the public version has also been updated to Version 0.23.2

twine just seemed fun, I discovered it through the game Boundless & I thought, well heck, if a game like that can be created in it, I can make something too

its easy to use but flexible enough for advanced things~

And gosh, what I prefer to work on? Really depends on my mood
I circle around a lot~

As the game grows I want more of a “dating” angle in general to be available with the characters

Right now as they stand it’s pretty surface level - chat with get kink scenes

but eventually I want them each to have quests and modest story lines to unlock romantic and sexual scenes ~

there’s been a reasonable dip in revenue since it’s been so long since the last update, but the amount of supporters that have stuck around has been honestly impressive

it’s made a huge difference in my unemployed life and what we can afford 💕💕💕

I’ve never been a good team player, so probably just would love being able to work largely alone and slowly tinker with my small scale passion project

but we’re I to get over that and have infinite funding
A voice acted - art focused more dating sim style game would be pretty cool

theres a few little flavor text Easter eggs here & there that reference friends OCs and things like that but not much

for cut content, mostly it’s just half written stuff I haven’t finished yet, like a girl & tentacle monster in the swamp that share a mind/body fusion

so, Insaitable Hearts did get delisted on Itch.Io for a bit there

so I had to demonetize it there in order to get relisted
thankfully the majority of its income comes from Patreon and in so far, while discoverability comes from itch

fingers crossed, Patreon hasn’t given me any trouble yet

In this time I’ve actually gotten very little time to work on the game itself
Its going to be a relatively minor update with a new character, a couple new scenes & additions
it’s by no means a big months long sizable update

My life as a mother has been very busy lately without daycare and going through moving states and trying to find work and such. Like. There’s a lot of reasons behind the huge slow down suddenly

I’m burnt out as heck, but not on Insatiable Hearts itself unlike I was with Elysium ~

“hey didn’t you abandon Tainted Elysium and disappear into the void for years after a mental breakdown? Can we trust you to finish Insatiable Hearts”

Why yes, I did and no you can’t
but that was a very different time and I was dealing with health problems and burn out unlike anything I had before

what’s that saying?

I got get over my perfectionism because like, this whole game is a wip, sometimes I just need to get things done and improve it later and not fret so much bleh

What’s left to do? Two scenes with minor variations and I was hoping to get some art done, but I’m just going to have some wip pieces instead

oh, yes! On the itch page itself there is a "Download" section where the files should all be packed for desktop use. Elsewise the patreon and the discord server also host downloads.

As for the purges, it was delisted for a time, but is back in searches for now because I demonetized the itch version

lmao, i have no idea. Any time I set a date for it, something seems to come up. But, that said. It's nearly done, so I'm hoping to have something posted up to patreon this weekend ~
