Three cyclists stand proudly on a grassy field, each wearing medals. The one on the left sports a white and red jersey with black shorts, holding a blue helmet. In the center, a cyclist wears a bright yellow jersey and black helmet, while the one on the right dons a dark jersey with white shoes. Behind them, other participants sit on white chairs near parked bikes, with a building featuring a red roof and cloudy skies in the background. The scene captures a cheerful post-race atmosphere.

A few choir members walked almost 14km into Oxford today to raise funds for our concerts and activities this year. A warm day for it but a fantastic way to spend some time together.

Haydn’s Nelson Mass, also known as the Mass in Troubled Times, was written during geopolitical uncertainty, with Napoleon threatening Austria at a time of economic upheaval. It is often described as the composer’s greatest composition, exuding triumphant jubilation amidst dramatic darker passages.
