Come along to Magdalen College Chapel on Friday lunchtime for musical treasures from the Italian early Baroque, featuring the voices and players of the Bate Collective, directed by Dr Jonathan Williams. Free entry!
On Friday 28 November, the Bate Collective is performing a lunchtime recital at @magdalenoxford.bsky.social.

We're looking forward to being at the JdP Music Building on Tuesday for this string quartet composition workshop. Come along from 2pm to learn from the Villiers Quartet as the compositions are workshopped, or join us at 3.30pm for the informal performance!

Detailing a journey through the Newcastle DIY scene in the 00s, turntable experiments from ensembles, to solo, duos trios and orchestras, multi-award-winning composer Mariam Rezaei will discuss her career journey and where her current creative practice is now at Monday's <speaks> talk.

In his 6pm <speaks> talk on Friday, Michael Finnissy will discuss the aesthetic and technical ideas that helped form his work. At 7pm, Ensemble Isis perform ‘Câtana’, based on Romanian folk music, alongside pieces by our student composers chosen for this concert.
