Not really. The dream is full automation and a world where we're free of dull labour and able to pursue our interests. The problem is that with automation in the hands of very few, that won't happen.

Got to disagree with that as general advice It can work out well, but the opposite is also true. You just don't know what will work out for the best in life. If you put career first and can potentially retire earlier for a start.
