The Duke is a shrewd man. Though even the most perceptive of beings can't fathom what they'd do when they are in love. Then again, Wriothesley is fine with that, as long as Neuvillette allows him.

Oh, Wriothesley feels just insane enough to want to whisk the Iudex to the waiting room and have his way, but he stays his ground like any good and honest person.

Neuvillette sighs. He does not move his finger away.

"The last trial finishes today. You can visit me tonight."

Till the footsteps of Miss Trow sound on the tiles, and Neuvillette is alert to that.

"Enough." He says, sliding a finger between their lips.

Wriothesley stops. He stares, eyes darkened, gaze pensive. He turns slightly, tilting his head.

He grips down at Wriothesley's arm with equal strength, pulling at the sleeve, the act only lending itself to draw their bodies close together. The wetness of their mouths together, the brush of their lips against each other - he is being ravished but he does not mind.

Neuvillette gasps into the kiss again as it lengthens for another greedy minute. The hand at his waist tightens, pressing fingers into the dip of his lower back, the hand at his nape tightens, running yearning fingers in his hair.

The kiss burns for a quick moment as promised and lasts for a full minute. The Duke rarely seen out of Meropide, has found himself waiting outside the doors in the earliest morning before any melusine or attendant arrived for work.
