🎭 Bad Lads at @livetheatre.bsky.social is “a passionate play… a fine example of advocacy storytelling.”
A gripping, harrowing look at youth detention in 1980s Britain.

Film #33 of the annual pass, a preview screening of Together.
Canny horror that feels like a reboot of Society in some ways. Nice to be an almost full screen with people who jump or laugh together. Horror is great as a shared experience.

Love living here in the North East. We have the balance between urban, country and coast all in a short area.

Loved the early Dubstar covers, especially the pencil case.

The joy of the summer is listening to music and reading. Just finished my Status Quo book this afternoon (which took far too long as I wasn't making time to read). Decided to pick this one off the pile to read next.

I was really moved by this show that only has one night to go. Powerful theatre.

🎭 When We Were Young @livetheatre.bsky.social is raw, powerful & unforgettable from @geezabreakpro.bsky.social.
A gripping Glaswegian tale of youth, violence, and loyalty—with a tight cast, dark humour & emotional punch.

This morning's cd in the car to work was 2018s Dream Wife by Dream Wife. I needed something uplifting.

Planning a couple of visits to the cinema this weekend. Need to catch up on 28 years and Jurassic Park. Both will be good on the big screen. Booked already as we left it too late last weekend and the good seats had gone.

Anyhow, nice to see my #SelfEsteem cd from #ReflexCd has a parental guidance sticker. Brings back memories of Tipa Gore's pmrc campaign in the 80s/90s.

This week's episode of "postie please find a new place every week to hide my new cd delivery." They found a brand new place rather than sticking it through the letter box, so I found it on the Sunday as I put stuff in the bins.

They did go through a phase of releasing similar games. Bit like EA with the FIFA franchise
