I’m in Tennessee. We’re not much different from Mississippi. Many are against closing the Department of Education, but nobody here thinks things have gone well for the last 50 years in education.
Charters and vouchers are the new way for the right here, and the left is just proposing nothing.

Our schools have sucked for years. I blame mental health, and gun access for the shootings, but can we blame our schools a little? We’ve watched flight to private for 50 years and let our world wide education ratings plummet to pathetic. Of course there are shootings in a bad place.
