Not that Oscars mean anything, but Diane Keaton certainly should have been nominated for Shoot the Moon. The sheer bravery of her work in it.... <shivers!>
I love it, too. Shoot the Moon was a career-best (or close enough) for everyone in it -- and certainly for Alan Parker.
Agreed! Along with Manhattan, this is my favorite performance of hers.
Such a great film. Loved how she snaps at Albert Finney -- "like eating ice cream?!"
