Last week, I witnessed a student pull out a whole embroidery project (hoop and all) and unapologetically work on it while watching the video for class.

I was in awe. The absolute power of that. The fearlessness. Truly iconic.

Here are a pair of 1780s stays that I am working on. They have been baste together to prep for sewing the boning channels. The lovely blue is a duck canvas I got from Fabric Wholesale Direct.
