Luis Cunio, father of hostages David and Ariel Cunio: "Every time there was a deal [on the horizon], the authorities informed us ... and then we heard that Netanyahu was torpedoing the agreement... Viki Cohen, mother of hostage Nimrod Cohen: "If there's something our leaders need to do during these holy days, it's to ask for forgiveness - not in words but in acts. They must bring the hostages home." But instead, Netanyahu and his ministers "have abandoned us".

Two years. We remember, with pain, October 7, 2023.
partners4israel.bsky.social
#Sukkot is known as “the time of our rejoicing”. But there is grief as we mark two years since October 7, 2023.
Still, there is also fragile hope – that the plan to end Israel's military action and #BringThemAllHome may yet be implemented, despite the efforts of bad actors.

"To change what Israel's doing", you must "lead more Israelis to question the country’s direction," writes @gershomg.bsky.social. With films such as 'The Sea' and 'Oxygen', he notes, Israeli cinema is a "vital source of artistic dissent" that mustn't be boycotted. www.theatlantic.com/internationa...
