i use they/he professionally (and on here for consistency) (my in-person pronouns are different) and let's be clear this is entirely because i want people to use they but don't want them to make a deal out of it if they don't want to for some reason (i work with a lot of very religious countries)

do schools like... teach students how ai/llms work? like not the deep maths but i feel like you could have a pretty high level view that would dispel 90% of misconceptions i see online at a level comparable to most Y10 science lessons

(my suspicion is that writing useless documentation and "summation" is really cheap — see every basic AI use doing it — and that code and such is a bit more expensive, but AI pricing is per-token without differentiation...
This pattern of writing useless documents is a hallmark of AI. A conscientious dev will at least quality-control and/or kill those things.
