THE TEST OF TRUE LEADERSHIP

Success can quietly feed our pride.

True leadership isn’t proven in prosperity, but in how we respond to adversity — with humility, courage, and faith.

Act justly, love faithfulness, and walk humbly with your God.

HUMILITY ISN’T WEAKNESS.
IT’S WHERE REPENTANCE BEGINS

Humility is stepping forward to understand how the world is shaping us, how we affect others, and how God can lift us up.

WHEN SHAME DIES, SO DOES CIVILITY

The Chinese word “wú chǐ” means shameless – literally, “the sense of shame is dead.”

Sadly, we see too much of this in people of influence today.

“When arrogance comes, disgrace follows,
but with humility comes wisdom.” (CSB)

COMPLAINING FOCUSES ON WHAT’S MISSING.
GRATITUDE REMINDS US OF WHAT’S POSSIBLE

Real leadership is rooted in public service and guided by kindness. For those who follow Jesus, that calling is even clearer.

Instead of saying, “The saints do great things,” say, “God does great things through His saints.”

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus. Amen (ESV)

LEADERSHIP ISN’T ABOUT POWER.
IT’S ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY

Those elected to serve in government should remember this simple truth: real leadership is rooted in public service and guided by kindness. For those who follow Jesus, that calling is even clearer.

DON’T SPEND YOUR ENERGY ON THINGS THAT GENERATE WORRY, ANXIETY AND ANGUISH.

ONLY ONE THING IS NECESSARY: LOOK TO THE HOLY CROSS OF JESUS AND KNOW THAT THE SON OF GOD LIVES

God wants to heal us of the attitudes, disordered desires, problems, and wounds that are causing us to be burdened.

ONLY THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST CAN MEN AND WOMEN FIND ANSWERS TO THE ULTIMATE QUESTIONS THAT TROUBLE THEM.

ONLY IN CHRIST CAN WE FULLY UNDERSTAND OUR DIGNITY AS PERSONS CREATED AND LOVED BY GOD.

THE BIBLE DIRECTS US TO BE EVER WATCHFUL FOR JESUS’ RETURN, AND EVER MINDFUL THAT WE HAVE NO EVERLASTING CITY ON EARTH

THE CROSS IS STEADY WHILE THE WORLD TURNS

Meekness may not be a celebrated ideal in the world, nor is it commonly associated with strength. Yet this is a strange paradox, for Jesus described meekness as the very expression of His divine-human heart.

Those who wear the cross of Jesus merely as some kind of ornament and then through their words and actions lead people away from Calvary’s Holy Cross will have to answer to God for their sin.

GALATIANS 6:7
“Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap.” (CSB)
