@karaswisher.bsky.social @profgalloway.com any interest in bringing @tarapalmeri.bsky.social on one of your pods to discuss Epstein? you guys always correctly point out when Trump is distracting from Epstein so it makes sense to bring that news to the foreground.
@pablo.show just used the Wayback machine for the latest “smoking gun” in his five part story about a billionaire skirting the NBA salary cap rules. The wayback machine helps journalists hold power to account!
Investors would instantly re-rate the multiples they’re willing to accept. Maybe still good for the long run, but I feel like no administration would willingly tank the stock market, especially with the sentiment rn.
@kairyssdal.bsky.social , can you explain to me very simply why investors aren’t enraged at this? It seems like they’re happy to get billions in “free” cash, but didn’t they just dilute themselves more than if they had a secondary offering?
Sharing an office with Lori Lightfoot is cool too!
As a consumer, I agree @bsky.app needs to prioritize videos!! I’m still waiting for full screen or skip ahead/back buttons, not even just algorithmic stuff.
Is there a reason that Meta doesn’t sue to enforce the law? Seems like they would have standing, and it would actually bolster their antitrust argument that they compete with TikTok. Plus on the off chance that the judge forces the issue they win massive market share by default.
Don’t worry, Jake Tapper’s next book covers the real story in detail. “Did Biden somehow infect Trump with oldness?”
Very funny imagining this happening at a company that Warren Buffet used to own. No way he’d allow this own goal.
Someone from @washingtonpost.com needs to check with an economist to fix their pricing… they’re currently charging $29 for a full year, seems like a great deal until you realize they’re charging only $26 if you pay monthly. they’re giving you a discount and encouraging churn halfway through the year
Washington post pricing page. Annual upfront payment costs $29. Monthly payments for a year costs $26.
As someone with many Yuppie friends that used to live there and have moved out because of the relatively sky high prices in fishtown, they should build WAY more housing there.
@downtownjoshbrown.bsky.social @michaelbatnick.bsky.social can you host @reckless.bsky.social on TCAF within the next weeks? The Apple legal segment for mystery chart is just the tip of the iceberg with tech. Nilay is also the best guest for Google’s business model shifts, Amazon satellites, etc.
Is the goal of social movements to “anticipate future opinions” or mold future opinions towards their moral principles?
Which option actually solves the Sixers rebounding issues which have been glaring for years now?
Tbh selling vaporware has been a pretty good strategy for Elon in the past.
So I guess all those “Just in Time Supply Chains are dead” stories after the pandemic didn’t really pan out either. Crazy that we’re going to see the exact same shortage issues again five years later.
This is a great suggestion and super easy to do. I just submitted my opinion and it only took a couple of minutes. Civil servants becoming political appointees hurts everyone so please everyone make your voice heard!

$5000 “baby bonus” to encourage women to have more babies? Come on. That won’t even cover the cost of childbirth.

Instead, here are 10 things we should actually do to make it easier to raise a family:
Honestly can’t wait for @mattbelloni.bsky.social and the Town to explain how tariffs on movies could even happen.
It’s literally $KO for the 21st century.
Warren Buffet has to be gearing up to buy a massive stake in Starbucks, right? Massive American brand, slightly down on their luck, sizable dividends, constant earnings, and leadership that has done this before.
Pretty sure @kyla.bsky.social and @dkthomp.bsky.social and @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social have been banging this drum for quite some time. Now we need leaders to buy into the obviously correct narrative and make some policy decisions to correct this.
This is a national tragedy that hurts all Americans everywhere. I worked at a national historical park growing up and it was a hugely popular vacation destination for all walks of life.
