Our group of four panelists all represent various levels of leadership, but based on their stories, it's clear that active mobility can begin on any level as long as there is coordination among all stakeholders.

The most important bit? Understanding 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙬𝙝𝙮 to create a resilient foundation.

At the PATH Symposium, keynote speaker Laura Andrea Salazar Correa shared Colombia’s National Strategy for Active Mobility, which puts people at the center through a gender and differential approach that:

✅ 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 in male-dominated transport jobs

Thank you to everyone who made the PATH Symposium a huge success! 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂

Our speakers showed that there’s no single solution to creating 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙧, 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨. It requires comprehensive, collaborative strategies that are all adapted to the geographical context. 🌍✨
