I woke up early to put the bins out with my partner & watched the moon setting behind the low hanging wispy clouds in the uk and it was way more fulfilling & joyful than any doomscrolling or ai slop could ever produce. we are literally surrounded by magic & beauty if only we would look 😭

Why would I ever be impressed by AI slop when I can walk outside and see things one million times more fascinating, beautiful, and mysterious. From the tiniest weird little bugs to the stars in the sky. There’s so many things about the natural world we still have to learn about instead.

the adjusted files back to them (thanks to a dear friend who helped me with colour profile adjustments!) aaand I’m hopeful that this will be all that needs adjusting 🤞🏻 I also got my royalties statement today and I got more than I thought!!! so things are looking up 🥹🥹

🎀 mini update: been stuck in a funk so I relaxed & played genshin update!! I also had my blood test & scan this week, and I kinda overheard the lady telling her colleague something that alarmed me soo I’m trying to stay calm & distract myself 🥺 I got my proofs for the keychains & I’m going to send

it’s a combination of self doubt, loneliness (as no one irl can relate to what I’m doing), executive disfunction, low income, and the change in weather. but there will be good days and bad. and I will try to give myself grace while I “try” 💌

AND holographic! the latter is a laminate film that I have to swipe over the paper, so I’ve got a few accessories like a roller to help me out. I’m so impressed with my paper quality btw 🥺💕 can’t wait to test out the rest hehee

I’ve been testing my cutting machine & printer settings all week and finally feel like I’ve cracked it. next I’ll be moving onto different paper types as each one will produce different print colours/tones, require various cut depths, etc. and so far I’ve only been using matte, so I’ll try glossy

other things of note: my guillotine arrived faulty 😖 it cuts wonky & leaves black marks on my paper, so I’ll be returning it this week & searching for a new product. if anyone has any reccs for a paper cutter / trimmer / guillotine (preferably with a up/down handle) then pwease let me know! 💕

they’ll be in a low quantity (around 15 each) since they’re a pricier product to manu soo very exclusive, but I’m excited to include them in my shop launch 🥹🥹
