I drove a bunch of these last year. They're like Volvos and Polestars, but better. And some of their SUVs feel tailor-made for American buyers. If they could backdoor these brands with U.S. production and the prices aren't outrageous, they could be a hit.

Ford's Tennessee Electric Vehicle Center will also be renamed the Tennessee Truck Plant, where it will now make affordable gas-powered pickups instead.
Production of the all-electric Ford F-150 has come to an end. But the next one will be an extended-range electric vehicle, or EREV, with 700 miles of range.

But Ford announced other pivots back to gas today too:
