Proudly wore ours (as 50+ yr old people) as we walked out of the polling station.

Did the same out at the West End Seniors' Centre today - proud to wear our stickers!

Many people in this city need a refresher on what to do and what not to do when traffic lights at multiple major intersections are out. Wrong answer - honk and drive through at high speed!

Had the same experience with 6 very large ziplock bags of tomatoes reducing to 12 cups of highly flavoured sauce. We will all appreciate those concentrated flavours of summer when winter kicks in.

TLDR: needed applesauce on vacation, didn't know the store layout, picked up two shiny green apples, found applesauce, too lazy to take apples back to apple shelf. Only did it one place in California - but not in LA!

Ha - I did just this exact thing on a visit to Mill Valley recently

And I think 149St north-south is also closed at Stony Plain Rd, thereby pushing traffic (including buses) on to wild and not so wonderful detours for people who need/want to get downtown.

My mum, born in Ireland in 1939, tells stories of coming home from school and being told that reading/writing was a waste of time. Instead of homework, she trudged back and forth after school to the spring with buckets to get water for cows - 90 mins per day.

Very pleased with my own little tomato patch this year - I may get 10 pots of highly concentrated and delicious sauce for those winter days when summer feels so far away.

It was a great day of door knocking, conversations, sign deliveries, and listening today in both Stettler and Drumheller! This is #OurHomeOurRiding in #BattleRiverCrowfoot!

So missing Mark already - our early mornings were made so much better by listening to him over the past 12 years. Waiting in trepidation to hear who they will wake us up.

Bonnie Critchley - a woman who thought somebody should do something and figured it might as well be her.

Ha! Just did the same thing north of the Canada/US border. Your dinner looks just like ours, except that our meat was a wee slow roasted lamb shoulder on the bone. All very delish when scooped up by hand with injera!

I don't know enough to understand if the situations are similar but this feels rather "Brexit-y". Promises about Brexit benefits didn't pan out. Instead the UK got self-imposed trade barriers, higher business costs and stifled investment. Is that what Alberta wants? niesr.ac.uk/blog/five-ye...
Five Years On: The Economic Impact of Brexit - NIESR
On 31 January 2020, the United Kingdom became the first member state to leave the European Union. In the five years since, what impact has Brexit-related uncertainty had on UK investment and trade? An...

My husband and I are immigrants. We came here 20 years ago; attracted by an entrepreneurial spirit and a culture where people seemed to believe that team work and a positive attitude would help lift everyone. We were welcomed. Where did this un-Albertan victim and blaming culture come from?

Drove past during the singing of the national anthem - goosebumps when you hear the crowd inside and in the Moss Pit roaring their way through "Oh Canada".

UK starting to heal Brexit wounds - turns out separatism wasn't a great thing after all

After years of denial, it's really striking that a UK government press release has just come out and said that Brexit was, you know, really bad for trade.
