Rows of red lanterns hang from buildings above a street in London's Chinatown. The Sun is caught peaking out from the left side building creating some lens flare. The sky is blue. View up towards the Raymond Revue Bar signage in Soho London during the day. A pigeon flys across the frame. An alleyway scene in London's Soho featuring a shop doorway with large image across the windows of two topless men cuddling in bed. In the middle of the alley a lime bike is fallen over blocking half the pavement and there are people standing around out doorways further down the street.

Bravo!! These have worked so well. 👏👏

That said Ektar will give wonderful colours too... so you'll not go far wrong with either.

Ooh lucky you! I've never been, but have experienced both films. Either will be lovely in that stronger light, but you'll need to be confident with your exposures for the Velvia as it is much less forgiving than Ektar. If it was me I'd go all in National Geographic style and go Velvia... 😎

A favourite from the roll of Fuji Provia 100f on Bronica SQAI of the kiddos in Scotland. Made a 7x7 print on the inkjet.

A hand holding an inkjet print of two kids standing on a rock looking out across a Scottish heather covered valley.

I want to be there right now with a picnic and my camera. Beautiful!

Take the high or low road?

Sorry to hear that Richard. The job market really is terrible at the moment. So many people going for the same job. My partner is in the same boat, getting interviews but no offer yet. What I can say though, as a positive, they wouldn't interview you if they didn't think you were a good candidate.

I never did sample the square sausage... fair reason to return just for that! 😂

Thanks Tom. So curious what's in it...

Muted, yet vibrant. 🤷😍

Nice! Esp like the double exposure from the bus.

Ooh love velvia too, but always found provia just that bit more forgiving with difficult exposure conditions.

Thanks Sam. 😊

Thanks Jevon. Yeah it’s such a lovely emulsion. Was my fav back in the day when it was more affordable.

It’s a lovely emulsion. Expired a while back but still holds up very well.

A million miles from London. Missing Scotland, wishing I can explore more sometime.

From the Scotland visit. I wondered if people who live here are envious of me being from a big city with its endless architecture and street scenes. I was totally envious of them with this on their doorstep.

A wooden gate and post with a rusty chain and lock holding it together. Beyond is a Scottish loch and hill in the distance. A green corrugated shed with boarded up windows besides a Scottish loch. in the foreground is a wire fence and heather with purple flowers.

Colour for me, the hue is beautiful and provides more detail and focus on the flower. 😍
