A bit about me - I am a costume historian and Costumier for Crow’s Eye Productions. We have been making dress history films for YouTube for six years, and we have had 106 million views plus. We also make museum films and have just completed a series of dress history films for Bloomsbury.

Yesterday we finished filming a video about the clothing of Anne Boleyn based on the National Portrait Gallery painting by an unknown English artist in the late 16th century, but based on a work of circa 1533-1536. Anne was played by Andreanne Rellou, the photograph was taken by @nrloven.bsky.social

I've been in the UK 3 weeks, and I am shocked at how much Farage, Yousaf, Tice et al are on UK TV screens.
Britain has a serious far-right problem.
The ideology of these fascists has been magnified and platformed to the extreme, it has now gotten dangerously out of control. This is totally insane.

Why do the rich keep getting richer?

Because we tax work more heavily than wealth.

This explainer lays out how the UK tax system quietly helps the wealthy stay wealthy – and why that needs to change.

Prof Richard Murphy reports
Why are the wealthy so well off?
The accumulation of wealth has been driving inequality for decades. In the first of two articles we explain the injustice of our wealth taxation

Apart from making films for museums and our YouTube channel (Crow’s Eye Productions), we (@nicoleloven) also do book cover photography for Arcangel Images. This example, Princess Elizabeth, the future Elizabeth I, is holding her mother Anne Boleyn’s necklace. #Tudors #Elizabeth1
A close up of a young woman dressed as aTudor princess. Her red silk velvet gown is edged with gold and ruby ooches and pearls. She is wearing a pearl necklace and has in her closed hand the necklace bearing a letter B for Boleyn that once belonged to her mother Anne Boleyn.

His name is JJ and he is almost 18, thoroughly spoilt and super chill - absolutely marvellous with the baby grandchildren. Here he is coming in for an affectionate nose boop.

Garden, plus cat, both of which bring me joy, and, I hope they bring some joy to you too.

Mistakes happen! If you forget to insert that one sentence in a paragraph the solution is easy. Just draw a dude in a hood and he will pull the missing text to the right place with a piece of rope!

What immigrants from all over the world have done for this country is tremendous.
