Matchless G80. 1956. I've only had it a few months. Loving it 😁
Bike details? It's a Matchless G80. A bit of a hybrid, 1956 and 1957. I've only owned it for a few months.
Yes. Twin Cibié lights. It's a Sprint fairing. I still have the rectangular headlight original. It was a useless light, from a Fiat I believe.
Ridden about 7000 miles so far this year. 4k on a tour on my Husky 901, some trails on the 701 plus off rides on the old Guzzi. 1k+ on this which I only got in April. Changed my perspective on riding. Bimbling along the back lanes on this is a real pleasure.

That scene always reminds me of one of Mayfield Parish's paintings
Paul Motion sometimes creates real melody from total chaos.
I remember the day well. Birmingham Guzzi club had a "consummation run" down to Oxford. That was a good ride too.
I'd completely forgotten about this. I have a copy in the loft somewhere.
...One of a few good concerts from ECM artists I've seen. Eberhard Weber solo stands out along with Gabarek, Haden and Gismonti.
Yes, Codona recordings are good. Don Cherry's trumpet added an interesting dimension. I saw Oregon when Triloc Gurtu was the percussionist. A good concert, missed Walcott's influence though, Glen Moore was superb...
Three good ones. The first Oregon LP I bought was Out Of The Woods, still my favourite.
Pivotal Music.
Late 70s. Invited into a friend's bedroom she seduced me with music and poetry. Jarrett's Köln Concert, Weber's Silent Feet, Rypdal's Waves and Patten's Vanishing Trick. She added significant branches to my music and made me appreciate poetry. We remain good friends.
