One of many amazing quotes in this article.

“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

The power of observing. Mr Nobody Against Putin is charming and heartbreaking. Slava Ukraini! And to those consumed by the half-truth and propaganda. Yes, "teachers win wars".

Saving immigration enforcement by abolishing ICE makes perfect sense, "hardly radical". It is better understood with examples from other countries. Institutions fail, especially when they are built on half-truth and lies. @startribune.com

I aspire to have the compassion of an ICU nurse, the sense of duty to bear witness when I see something wrong and the courage to defend a vulnerable person who is attacked by a masked soldier. Everything I see in #AlexPretti.

I find this common right-wing critique of protest movements, where they emphasise how "organised" they are, so weird. Seems to rest on an understanding that protests can only be valid if they're a spontaneous outpouring of emotion and not if they have any actual goals
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

Noem lies shamelessly: "An individual approached order Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic gun. The officers attempted to disarm this individual, but the armed suspect reacted violently. This looks like a situation where an individual arrived to inflict maximum damage and kill law enforcement"
