This Silver Ghost, with a body from Brockman Coachbuilders, was built using full sheets of solid cooper

If you love art, are a car person, like “uncommon” things, etc, consider visiting!

Newberry National Volcanic Monument (USFS), near Bend, OR. Pic taken 02Sep25

Newberry is both seismically & geothermally active. Geologists believe the caldera sits over a shallow magma body only 2 to 5 kilometers deep

Waterfalls have real health benefits!

Waterfalls put negative ions into the air. Inhaling these ions increases the amount of oxygen in your brain, kills germs, & increases serotonin levels (improving mood, increasing mental alertness, & relieving stress).

Visited Mt. St. Helens area yesterday & came away super impressed with WA Parks Mt Saint Helens Interpretive Center (2nd & 3rd pics taken at the Interpretive Center).

The power this volcano unleashed blows my mind.

Really enjoyed our time in Juneau … the rain (& fog & wind) effected a few of our plans yet, where we could, we dressed for the elements & had wonderful experiences 👍
The Outer Point Loop Trail, Douglas Island, Tongass National Forest, AK (21Sep25)

Fun Fact: The Tongass National Forest, in Southeast Alaska, is the largest U.S. National Forest that’s also a temperate rainforest

It’s also the 9th largest rainforest in the world 🤯
