Just heard the sad news of Mani. A great bassist, in a couple of class bands.
I met him years ago and he was so nice.
He was DJing in Aberdeen and I approached him beforehand for his autograph.
I think he knew I was nervous - he asked where I was from, then chatted away for a few mins.

I’m still rattled by that Ireland win earlier. I’ll be too buzzin to sleep tonight.
At the start of the group I was confident of reaching a playoff, but we looked dead and buried after the first 3 games.
