It was literally on the B-side of the Istanbul (Not Constantinople) single! (I have it on CD…and love BOTH songs!)

The 1990 B-side by @tmbg.bsky.social is a classic and doesn’t need a modern update!

Could be unmarked.
It’s been 4+ years and Dad’s grave is STILL unmarked. (There’s no room left on the headstone!) Mom and I are hoping to finally get that sorted out in the spring. He’s buried with my mother’s family, but we’ll get his name engraved on the headstone with his parents about 20’ away.

The look on Rubio’s face… He knows it’s bullshit, but puts up with it because he gets to play Secretary of State.

…although I have one potential relative with no headstone photo and a “section” not listed on the cemetery maps. I’m VERY familiar with the cemetery (since it’s where my father, all grandparents, and some great-grandparents are), but no idea where this guy is supposed to be. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I assume this is on FindAGrave. I appreciate photos there too. For places I’m unlikely to visit (like the middle of Michigan), it lets me peek at ancestors’ headstones. For places I can visit, it helps me know what I’m looking for.

The Amazing Race’s first season premiered September 5, 2001 and they started in NYC. Lots of shots of NYC included the WTC.

By the time the finale aired (which also had the finish line in NYC), they edited out any shot of the city which included the WTC.

I’ve been wanting some customization on model railroad pieces and had no idea they made water slide decal paper for laser printers! 😱

Going well! Had an incredibly busy summer with the kiddo home all day, so only starting to catch up on things now. 😅

How are you all doing?

Cybertruck broken down in the middle of Route 128…

If you were waiting for a dumpster that hasn't been dropped-off yet, it might be right here on Rte 128/I-95 NB after Rte 2A in Lexington. Right lanes blocked. #BostonTraffic #MATraffic

Yes, he’s a criminal who has committed dozens of impeachable offenses, but the system is SUPPOSED to provide us a method to get him out of office. It’s the complicit GOP that won’t end this nightmare.

Please promise to actually have consequences for all of this, unlike his first term!

Okay, finally! Here’s what I think about Die Hard 2…a thread:

“The scheme provides unconditional, regular payments to eligible artists and creative workers, allowing them to focus on their practice without the pressure of commercial viability.”

“A cost-benefit analysis by Alma Economics found that for every €1 invested, society receives €1.39 in return.”

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

Healthcare is important, yes…but can you ALSO address the ongoing issue of sending troops into our own cities?
…or are you going to wait until he gets to Boston?

The main reason I’d want a self-driving car is so that I could drive somewhere and then not have to park. I’d send the car off to park itself. (I don’t care where…as long as it’s legal and free.) Then I can summon the car when I want to go home.

No more downtown parking!
No more airport parking!

Most of it I can live with...but this looks like they made a mistake and misaligned the icons...and also put some sort of blur filter on them for some reason.

Seriously, I can get you in touch with someone. Drop me a DM if you're up for a trip...

Twice this morning, I thought "I need to take out the recycling with the trash tonight."
That's tomorrow. Wednesday.

What's going on to make us think it's Wednesday?!
