Bristol is home to dynamic cultural sites, & has a long history of residents standing up for their rights through art and protest.

Our PiOC delegation visited sites such as Banksy’s artwork in Harbourside and MShed museum’s exhibits on how Bristol people have protested for their rights over time.

We are inspired by Quezon City’s Mayor Joy Belmonte who notes in her remarks:

“Every person here understands the weight of our shared duty as the immediate line of defense in the face of potential violence, whether it unfolds on our streets, in schools + workplaces, inside homes, or even online.”
