Yeah, someone should talk to her about it; maybe one of her coaches. She needs to be more careful with her frustration or figure out a way to channel it differently so it doesn’t endanger others.

I just saw a video clip from a different angle that showed the kid getting hit in the leg with the racket… and she didn’t get any consequences from that…

And yeah, in addition to general sportsmanship, I don’t like how Sabalenka responds after frustration. I think you can be mad and upset, but it’s how you handle that. Like for example, she almost hit one of the ball kids with her tennis racket at the semifinal match. She needs to be more careful.

Agreed! Serena was my favorite when she was playing, but you can see that Coco is a generational talent! What she’s accomplished at this point of her career is impressive. Some people are hard on Gauff, but I guess it’s because expectations are high and she’s constantly compared to Serena and Venus.

Makes sense! Coco will forever be my favorite to root for in this era; she’s really who I support. After Sabalenka’s response to Coco winning at RG, I can’t root for her. You could argue Jess doesn’t need the money considering her fam has it….but Coco is now $596,000 richer though! Happy for Coco!!

The fact Coco Gauff did not lose a single set this entire #WuhanOpen tournament is absolutely incredible. Sheer dominance. Also first player in WTA history to go 9-0 in hard court finals. Her 11th overall title and 3rd career WTA 1000 title. Doing all of that at 21. Amazing. #WTA #Tennis
