Attending the classes is a great way to learn more about erotic hypnosis

Waiting until the last minute to register is a great way to not be able to find a hotel room

The hypnotist records a file with a certain pacing, using different metaphors & ideas. The technique in a file can't adjust to match your subconscious needs. Finding a good file is like finding shoes. You need one that fits well. That's not the same shoe that fits the next person

If you don't have a hypnosis partner, start out by listening to Safe-For-Work files on YouTube. You can also search Reddit for beginner files or files that focus on "Agency."

If the hypnotist reinforces the suggestion every day for weeks on end, it could last much longer & be harder to resist without reason

You should always be able to resist a suggestion if you need to for safety

I had a partner who interpreted my "you NEED to do this" as feeling intense pain until they did it. That's not metaphor but a quirk of everyone's brain working differently. I learned to say REALLY WANT when working with them. Positives may work stronger than negatives but that may be very individual

Discord's customer service system was compromised, including age verification data.

This is exactly one of the reasons why we don't want age verification by government ID to access online adult spaces.

What data was involved?

The data that may have been impacted was related to our customer service system. This may include:

Name, Discord username, email and other contact details if provided to Discord customer support
Limited billing information such as payment type, the last four digits of your credit card, and purchase history if associated with your account
IP addresses
Messages with our customer service agents
Limited corporate data (training materials, internal presentations)

The unauthorized party also gained access to a small number of government‑ID images (e.g., driver’s license, passport) from users who had appealed an age determination. If your ID may have been accessed, that will be specified in the email you receive.

I've gone back and forth on the use of metaphorical language over the years. I've heard this sort of thing before that we're supposed to be really careful to speak literally, but the accounts feel sensationalist. Even carefully chosen words can have 2 meanings, and you just deal with that as you go

Can you avoid saying it? Sure, unless you're not really thinking about it. It feels natural & instinctual. How natural it feels will fade, but years later you might have that thought cross your mind at a restaurant. By then it's a memory not a trigger, but the connection is still in your mind.

"Enjoy your meal" is the trigger, and I've replaced "Thanks, you too" with "I'm so horny" as the automatic response. It doesn't make any more sense than the original, but you can imagine what it's like to automatically say something

There are lots of things we do that are conditioned or instinctual. They don't always make a lot of sense. Hypnotic suggestions create connections between things in your mind, and the "trigger" is one of them.

Like: "When I say 'enjoy your meal' you say 'I'm so horny.'"

Have you ever been conditioned to respond automatically?

If someone reaches out to shake your hand, most people will reach their own hand out instinctively. If the server at a restaurant says "Enjoy your meal," it's amazing how many people say Thanks you too

Will your first attempt at hypnosis hypnotize your partner deeply & profoundly? Maybe not. That can take some work, but it's not hard to learn. Once you know a bit about safety, agency, & consent, experiment & play around with your partner to see what works & what's fun

Cliche hypnosis tropes exist because they mostly work. If you swing a pocket watch, the subject's eyes will be drawn to it. When their eyes start getting tired, tell them it's because the hypnosis is making them sleepy. Have them breathe & focus on your voice. Count slowly down
